vent filters are easily installed. Locate the vent pipe and
glue the filter onto the vent. If the vent pipe diameter is
smaller than 3", an adapter is needed. The adapter should
be glued to the pipe with solvent weld glue. The adapters
are available at hardware stores and home centers. For a 2"
vent pipe, use a Schedule 40 2x2 coupler. For a 1 1/2"
vent pipe, use a a Schedule 40 2" hub x 1 1/2 slip reducer.
