Disinfecting Tablets

Bio-Sanitizer disinfecting tablets are specially formulated to provide safe, efficient and reliable disinfection of water or wastewater flows. Bio-Sanitizer tablets provide treatment plant operators a consistent way to meet disinfection standards without exceeding stringent limits for total residual chlorine. Registered by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Canadian Ministry of the Environment, Bio-Sanitizer tablets are a preferred, safe alternative to dangerous liquid and gas disinfection systems. Bio-Sanitizer tablets insure reliable disinfection rates up to intermittent peak flow factors of four and maintain a uniform chlorination rate even when the significant runoff period is six hours. When used as directed in any approved, gravity flow chlorinator, Bio-Sanitizer tablets provide positive disinfection and inhibit bacteria regrowth.

Important:
Septic chlorine tablets are NOT the same as swimming pool chlorine tablets.  It is illegal to use swimming pool chlorine tablets because they are not approved by EPA or NSF for wastewater treatment.
Acid based products, such as common swimming pool tablets, disinfect slowly and produce a non-degradable chlorine residual while lowering effluent pH.  Even occasional use of these acid based products in wastewater treatment can result in the discharge of inadequately treated wastewater and create potentially harmful or hazardous gases.  Pool tablets are designed to soak in water rather than just having water pass by them as in wastewater treatment. If improperly used in a wastewater treatment system, the pool tablets can emit hazardous gasses.

Residential Disinfecting Tablets

Blue Crystal disinfecting tablets are a special microbiocide developed exclusively for use in residential wastewater treatment applications. Dechlorination Tablets

Bio-Neutralizer dechlorination tablets are formulated to effectively remove free and combined chlorine from water or wastewater treatment system flows. Dechlorination Tablets

Bio-Max dechlorination tablets are an inexpensive, concentrated source of sodium sulfite for water, wastewater and process water dechlorination. Containing 92% active ingredient, Bio-Max tablets are the strongest product available for dechlorination. This insures the complete elimination of chlorine from any type of flow regardless of typical interferences, such as elevated ammonia levels or excess suspended solids.

Formulated to provide a consistent release of sodium sulfite in response to water velocity, Bio-Max tablets deliver exceptional performance in Norweco's Bio-Dynamic tablet feeders and can be used with all other major brands. A single 140 gram Bio-Max tablet will remove 1 ppm chlorine from over 19,000 gallons of water or wastewater. When used in Norweco's Bio-Dynamic tablet feeders, a single feed tube filled with Bio-Max tablets will dispense over 26 days of maintenance free treatment for the average 15,000 GPD wastewater facility.

Biological Remediation Tablets

Bio-Perc tablets provide an efficient and cost-effective way to remediate failing tile fields and disposal systems. Scientifically blended to contain more than 220 billion beneficial microorganisms per pound, Bio-Perc tablets safely break down organic material into carbon dioxide and water. Tile fields, sand filters, mounds and other soil-based processes that have been organically or hydraulically overloaded can be renovated with Bio-Perc tablets. A blend of beneficial bacteria, enzymes and natural growth accelerators, Bio-Gem Grease Eliminating Microbes treat grease, fats and oils in wastewater treatment systems, lift stations, septic tanks, sand filters, drain lines and commercial grease traps. Bio-Gem tablets work effectively in aerobic or anaerobic conditions to convert common grease, fats and oils into carbon dioxide and water. This organic digestion process is much more effective and reliable than merely emulsifying the grease, fats and oils, which simply sends the problem to downstream treatment processes.
