Note:
Our SepAerator Air Pumps are weatherproof, UL Listed, and
meet ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 International Standards.
Although we recommend that you place these pumps in our housing
and platform combo, they are constructed of weatherproof materials
that allow you to place the pump directly outside.
There
is a tremendous amount of information available on our site
concerning the SepAerator Premium Package including how and
why it works so well. The SepAerator Economy Package is designed
to do many of the same things as the SepAerator Premium Package
but with the above-mentioned differences. The SepAerator Economy
Package contains similar components to that of some competitive
products. Naturally we recommend that an upgrade to the SepAerator
Premium Package is money well spent, however we understand
that not everyone needs nor drives a Cadillac. The options
are yours for the choosing.
Simple
To Install
Both packages include
products that can be installed into an existing septic tank
very easily in the following manner:
1. Dig down and find lids over the inlet and outlet portion
of your septic tank.
2. Attach ½ inch spa-flex airline to diffuser assembly
and lower to bottom of the tank in the inlet portion of your
septic tank.
3. Attach other end of ½ spa-flex airline to air pump,
which will simply plug into 115-v receptacle.
4. Install filter assembly in the discharge end of your septic
tank to the outlet line. It should glue. We even supply the
glue.
Note: Although
the diffuser assembly would very rarely need to be removed
we recommend that you install our optional riser
and lid kits that would come to or slightly above the
ground surface, which would allow easy access to these key
components. Also, the filter would need to be removed and
washed with a garden hose occasionally. Without adding risers
and lids over the filter assembly, in the discharge end of
your septic tank, you would have to dig down to the septic
tank lid to remove and clean the filter. The filter is a necessary
and key component to any air pump driven system and will need
to be cleaned occasionally. Cleaning the filter is very easy
provided you have easy access to it.
