Product Description

Septic Tank Aerator and Diffusion Assembly with Septic Tank Filter and Optional Alarm and Control Panels. Added to existing septic tanks for the enhancement of both Primary and Secondary Treatment. Changes the dynamic of existing septic tanks from anaerobic bacterial treatment to a much faster and more effective aerobic bacterial treatment.

Purposes

The system will introduce oxygen into an existing septic tank promoting the growth of aerobic bacteria. Aerobic bacterium will effectively process sewage, causing the septic tank discharge to become much clearer and odorless. This enhanced septic tank discharge will more readily be absorbed into the secondary treatment soils. Excess aerobic bacteria leaving the septic tank will combine with the existing natural aerobic bacteria in the secondary treatment system and aid in processing sewage that previously passed from the existing septic tank that has not been absorbed into the soils. This process will effectively prolong the life of, and in many cases, aid in the rejuvenation of a secondary treatment system on the verge of failing.

Additionally the SepAerator™ will create a sufficient amount of water movement in the septic tank. This movement will rapidly break apart waste into smaller particles and allow the rapid growing aerobic bacteria to effectively attach to those smaller particles and devour them. The Septic tank Filter will assure no moving solids will exit the septic tank.

The SepAerator™ comes with a very exclusive patent pending self-cleaning septic tank filter. The one of a kind design utilizes air from the pump to force any particles away from the filter. The bristle filter provides a fixed media for aerobic bacteria to finish the effluent polishing process before discharge from the tank occurs.

Some similar products are primarily used to rejuvenate an existing failed field absorption system. Although the SepAerator™ has proven that it will rejuvenate failing secondary treatment systems, its primary function is to greatly enhance the quality of the discharge from an existing septic tank which will prolong the life of a secondary treatment system and greatly reduce the BOD5 (Biochemical Oxygen Demand) and TSS (Total Suspended Solids), normally discharged from an existing septic tank. This enhanced discharge will prolong the life of secondary treatment system and will better protect our groundwater in areas where the secondary treatment was installed without adequate separation in groundwater, seasonal high water tables, or wells.
